ROGER ROSSI’S PAST AND PRESENT PERFORMANCES

As a solo pianist-vocalist, accompanist, music director and bandleader, Rossi leads various sized combos from 3 to 7 pieces, and orchestras from 9 to 14 pieces, often featuring his talented (vocalist) wife Sal.

In Quebec and Ontario Canada, he was engaged as Music Director and Piano Accompanist for EMC recording artist Tommy Desmond for 3 years at fine hotels, supper clubs and on radio and television.

In New England and New York State he was engaged as Music Director and Piano Accompanist for Columbia Recording Artist Gene Stridel for 3 years.

Hempstead, NY - Roger was Staff Pianist at Ultrasonic Recording Studios playing the piano parts on many hit recordings, including The Shangri-Las No. 1 Hit, “Leader of the Pack”.

Manhattan NY - performed at Le Champs Supper Club, and later, at the world-famous Living Room.

IN FLORIDA AND THE BAHAMAS

In the Bahamas - at the prestigious Cat Cay Yacht Club’s Thanksgiving Week for 8 years.

Boca Raton - at The 5-star Boca Raton Hotel and Club, nightly in the main dining room for 3+ years.

Fort Lauderdale - Demoed new keyboard for Victor Corp. of Japan (JVC) Convention, Marriott Hotel.

Hobe Sound - Weekly at Mariner Sands Country Club for 14 years.

Jupiter-Tequesta - for Jack Nicklaus’s Banquet, at the Jupiter Hilton. At the prestigious Jupiter Hills Country Club for 5 years.

Manalapan - Grand Opening of the 4-star Ritz Carlton Hotel for 4 weeks.

Miami - Were featured performers on the 5-Star Sea Dream Yacht’s Puerto Rico Cruise for Lynn University; for McDonald’s (The Corporate-Hamburger Company) Latin American Conference at the Sonesta Beach Resort; at the Mahi Shriners Convention, Miccosukee Casino for 3 years.

North Palm Beach - Grand Opening parties at Jack Nicklaus’s City Club for two weeks; NPB Yacht Club’s Commodores Ball (since 2004); led a 5-piece band for a wedding at Jack Nicklaus’s home, Nicklaus was the Best Man; The Flame Supper Club, nightly for 9 years.

Palm Beach - for Miami Herald's Silver Knight Awards, at the Poinciana Playhouse; The Sailfish Club (solo piano) for 2 years; Club International’s Balls for 4 years at The Breaker’s Hotel and The Beach Club; Cystic Fibrosis’ “65 Roses Ball” at Breakers Hotel; Palm Beach Yacht Club, weekends for 2 years; Rossi with his 7 piece combo, opened for The Melissa Manchester Show at The Breakers Hotel (1990).

Palm Beach Gardens - Resident Pianist at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Parish for 15 years; Macy’s Grand Opening (1988) with Robin Leach (Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous); Roger has directed The Devonshire Choir from the piano for 3 concerts annually since 2007.

Royal Palm Beach - Band-leader, Manager and co-owner at The Royal Inn Resort for 7 years. “Roger Rossi (18-piece) Big Band” Holiday Concert, w/ special guest, TV Host Robin Leach.

Stuart - City of Stuart’s 100 years Anniversary - “A Century in Review” at the Lyric Theater (2014).

Tampa - The Flame Restaurant’s Grand Opening (1986).

Wellington - President of the Rotary Club 1988-89; Roger is a Paul Harris Fellow; Chaired the “Big Band Benefit Bash” with 11 bands in concert, for Rotary International's "Polio Plus"1989; Roger’s quartet opened and accompanied the legendary Ink Spots in a Rotary Club benefit concert (1990).

Vero Beach - The Alzheimer’s Ball with “Class Action” at Grand Harbor Club (2006); Club 50 monthly parties with his 9-piece orchestra at John’s Island Club since 2004; Vero Beach Museum of Art’s 20th Anniversary Gala; US Senior’s Golf Awards at John’s Island and Bent PinesCountry Club for 9 years; Rossi piano accompanied Metropolitan Opera star Susan Neves singing Rossi’s own version of Ave Maria to the delight of an audience of 800 Vero Beach Opera fans at Waxlax Center – 2009 [Watch on YouTube]

West Palm Beach - City of West Palm Beach’s “4th on Flagler” (July 4th Celebrations for 3 years); Rossi’s “Red Onions Dixieland” played the Groundbreaking Ceremonies for the Kravis Center. Later, in 1998, “The Roger Rossi Big Band” (14 pieces) performed at The Kravis Center on the main stage.
